BULGARIAN CHICKEN 
1 cut up fryer
2 onions, sliced
2 c. rice
Lawry's seasoned salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Paprika

In large casserole, place a coating of butter. Place sliced onions and cover onions with rice. Then place chicken on top of rice. Sprinkle with seasoned salt. Salt and pepper heavily with paprika. Dot with butter and cover ingredients with a quart of water. Cook uncovered for about 45 minutes or until done.

Very simple and as close to the real Bulgarian dish as possible without the real Bulgarian spices. I recommend using short grain rice and canola oil (instead of butter) to make it more authentic. Bake at 375°F. I also use chicken thighs instead of the fryer for simplicity. Baking time will increase with quantity.
