AMBER JAM 
1 lb. dried apricots
4 c. water
8 c. sugar
1 med. can crushed pineapple

Let apricots stand overnight in water add pineapple. Let simmer over heat for 1 hour, stirring now and then. Add sugar and cook rapidly, stirring until jells slightly.

Put in jars and seal.

Makes 6 - 8 1/2 pint jars.
