EASY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Put sugar and flour in mixer. Bring to a boil the next 4 ingredients in small pan. Pour into mixer. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a sheet pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Pour icing on cake while hot.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
6-8 tbsp. milk
1 c. pecans

Bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar until the right consistency. Pour on cake.
