CABBAGE-RAMEN SALAD 
1 med. head cabbage, shredded
2 pkg. Ramen noodles (any flavor) (use noodles dry)
6 green onions, chopped
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 c. oil (Crisco is fine)
6 tbsp. rice vinegar
Up to 1 oz. toasted sesame seeds to your taste
4 tbsp. sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together the cabbage, the noodles broken into small pieces, the onions, and the sesame seeds. Prepare the dressing by mixing the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over the first mixture and toss well. Chill several hours or overnight. Discard noodle flavor packet. Add almonds when ready to serve.
