3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream together first 4 ingredients. Add flour and baking soda; stir in. Drop by rounded teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Criss-cross with fork tines. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Makes 4 dozen.
