1/2 c. milk 2 cakes yeast 5 c. flour 1 1/2 tbsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 2 oz. butter 2 c. water Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Scald milk and let stand until lukewarm. Add yeast to milk. Mix flour, salt, sugar, butter and water together in large bowl. Add yeast to flour mixture. Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place. Dough will double in size in approximately 40 minutes. Punch down dough. Divide into 24 pieces. Place each piece of dough in well of a lightly greased muffin pan. Let rise again. Bake for 15 minutes. |
