CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour (plain)
1/2 lb. butter (can substitute butter)
5 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix sugar, butter, milk, cocoa, oil and vanilla until smooth batter obtained. Add eggs, one at a time. Add salt and baking powder, then flour, one cup at a time. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes. NOTE: Jarring this cake during baking time will make it fall.
