FROZEN OR FRESH SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, sliced or shredded
3 ribs celery, chopped
1 c. white vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 green or red pepper
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed

Sprinkle salt over cabbage and let stand 1 hour; squeeze out fluid. Mix cabbage, celery, and peppers. Mix remaining ingredients and bring to boil for 1 minute; cool.

Pour cabbage mixture and freeze until time to use. Defrost and serve. Doesn't have to be frozen; will keep in refrigerator for several weeks. Is always crisp and fresh.
