PARFAIT PIE 
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 lg. banana, 1 c.
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Whipped cream, whipped
1 9" graham cracker crust

In 2 quart saucepan bring 1 1/4 cups water to a boil. Add sugar and strawberry Jello, stir until dissolved. Add pint of vanilla ice cream a little at a time to hot liquid, stir until melted. Chill mixture for 10-20 minutes until thick but not set. Then fold in banana and nuts. Pour into graham crust and chill until firm. Top with whipped cream.
