POLISH CLABBER CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
2 c. buttermilk

Sift dry ingredients 3 times. Add melted shortening, buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Cook and stir over medium heat the milk, sugar, egg yolks and butter until thickened. Add coconut, pecans and vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread.
