SAUCE - POT MEAT BALLS | |
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1 1/4 c. water 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 lb. ground beef 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. chopped parsley, if desired 1/2 tsp. garlic salt In deep, thick saucepan, bring to a boil quickly the soup mix, onion, water and 1 1/2 cans of tomato sauce. Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Mix ground beef, seasonings with remaining tomato sauce. Shape into 16 meatballs and drop in sauce. Simmer gently, uncovered, for 25 minutes, turning occasionally or spaghetti. Note: These are good meatballs, without all the time to brown and turn. Serves 4. |
