SAUCE POT MEAT BALLS 
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

In deep thick saucepan bring to boil quickly onion, soup mix, water and 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce. Simmer covered for 10 minutes. Mix ground beef seasonings, parsley and remaining tomato sauce. Shape into 16 meat balls. Place in sauce simmer uncovered 25 minutes.
