1 lb. franks
1/2 c. corn meal
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

Mix all ingredients together. Dip franks into mixture and deep-fry. Do not fry too fast or they may not get done all the way.
