GRATIN POTATOES 
2 1/2 lb. Idaho potatoes, sliced 1/8-inch
1/2 pt. heavy cream or as needed
1/2 pt. milk or as needed
salt and fine ground pepper to taste
1/2 lb. grated domestic Swiss cheese
2 oz. grated Parmesan cheese

Mix milk, cream, salt and pepper and bring to a boil; pour mixture into a 10-inch baking dish over the sliced potatoes and top with the cheeses.

Bake at 350°F until potatoes are tender and the top has browned. Serve hot!
