1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Stir butter and sugars until smooth. Stir in next 4 ingredients. Mix flour, soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mix. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes until light brown.
