BEEFY BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sliced onion
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (I use Campbell's)
1/2 can water (use empty soup can)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 can refrigerator biscuits (I use Pillsbury)
salt and pepper, to taste

Brown ground beef and onion. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Add soup, water, cream cheese and drained mushrooms. Heat and blend thoroughly to mix cream cheese. Place in ungreased casserole dish (I prefer an oblong pan). Put biscuits on top and bake according to package directions.
