CREAM OF PUMPKIN SOUP 
1/2 c. sliced green onion
3 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. cooked mashed pumpkin
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 sm. tomato, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 c. half and half

Saute onion in butter until tender; add remaining ingredients except half and half. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place mixture in blender container, and process until smooth. Add half and half, and heat through. Serve warm. Yield: 6 to 8 small servings.
