1 can mushroom soup
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1/4 c. fine bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/4 c. shredded cheese

Mix 1/2 cup soup, hamburger, onion, egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Press into 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat. Frost with potatoes, remaining soup and cheese. Bake 10 minutes more.
