MAPLE SUGAR CREAM CAKE 
1 c. maple sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Beat egg and add to sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved. Sift salt and soda with flour and add to first mixture alternately with cream. Bake in quick oven.

MAPLE SUGAR FROSTING:

1/2 c. maple sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. water

Boil until it will hair from a spoon. Stir briskly into the beaten white of an egg. Beat until cool enough to spread.
