1 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
1/2 c. wine or brandy
1 c. whole walnuts
2 c. whole Brazil nuts
1 lb. dates, cut up
1 lb. candied red cherries
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Bake at 300 degrees about 1 1/2 hours. Makes 3 small tins.
