CHEESE STRATA 
8 slices bread
12 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 lb. bacon, fried, crumbled
1 c. milk
12 eggs
Pepper to taste

FOR 24:
16 slices bread
24 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb. bacon, fried, crumbled
2 c. milk
24 eggs
Pepper to taste

Portion: 2 x 3 inches. Size pan: 9 x 9 inch for 12; 9 x 13 inch for 24.

Butter pan. Remove crusts from bread and line pan with bread. Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Beat eggs and milk and seasoning. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour at 275 degrees.
