CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. diced onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 lb. sliced American cheese
1 pkg. (8 Pillsbury) crescent roll dough

Brown ground beef. Add onion and cook 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes. Spoon into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Arrange slices of cheese and top with crescent dough. Bake at 350 degrees until dough is light brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
