PEARLS AND CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. deluxe white baking pieces or vanilla chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheets. Bake 9-10 minutes; let stand 2 minutes before removing.
