STRAWBERRY GLAZE PIE 
Baked pie shell
1 qt. strawberries
3/4 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Whipped cream

Crush 1 cup red strawberries, add water and bring to a boil. Simmer 3 minutes and strain. Add water, if necessary, to make 1 cup liquid. Combine cornstarch, sugar, and salt and add to the liquid. Stir until smooth.

Bring to a boil and stir constantly until mixture thickens. Cool. Place remaining whole strawberries in the baked shell an pour the glaze over the berries. Top with the whipped cream.
