COCOA DROP COOKIES 
1/2 c. soft shortening (part butter)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. sour milk (plain milk plus 1 tsp. vinegar)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

FROSTING:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
Couple heaping tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. vanilla
A little water

Mix shortening, sugar and egg thoroughly. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add rest of the ingredients. Chill 1 hour, drop onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let cool, then frost.

FROSTING: Beat until smooth.
