1 c. butter (oleo) softened
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
12 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla, eggs, soda and salt. Beat well. Mix in flour then the chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees about 10 to 12 minutes. Store in covered container.
