ALMOND RUSKS 
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. slivered almonds OR
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. lemon juice

Mix in order given and put in bread loaf pan. Bake about 3/4 hour in 350 degree oven. Cool and slice 1/2 inch. Toast 10 minutes on each side on cookie sheet in 350 degree oven.
