1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. sm. strawberry Jello
Red food color

Mix ingredients and cook until thick and while hot add 1 quart fresh ripe strawberries. Pour in baked pie shells. Cool about 1 hour and cover with cream. Makes two pies.
