TEXAS CAKE 
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 c. flour

In a saucepan boil first 3 ingredients. Remove from stove and add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake on a large cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Frost immediately.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Bring to a boil first 3 ingredients. Remove from stove, cool, and add remaining ingredients.
