APRICOT CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt

Add and cut 1/2 cup butter with pastry blender OR 2 knives.

1 tsp. almond extract
3/4 c. milk
3 or more cups canned apricots (will be like a biscuit dough)

Turn onto well greased flour coated pan. Dip fingers into flour and push dough around to cover pan. Place apricots all around dough. Before baking, sprinkle sliced almonds over top and 1/4 cup of sugar sprinkled on top.

All around outside rim of crust, sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture - then bake at 350 degrees about 50-60 minutes or until nicely browned. DON'T OVER BAKE!
