COUNTRY - STYLE CHICKEN KIEV 
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. each basil & oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 chicken breasts, split
1/4 c. white wine or apple juice
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped parsley

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter. Combine crumbs with cheese, basil, oregano, and garlic. Dip breasts in melted butter. Then coat with crumb mixture. Reserve remaining butter. Place chicken skin side up in ungreased pan. Bake 50 minutes.

Meanwhile, add wine, green onion and parsley to reserved butter (about 1/2 cup). When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce over chicken. Continue baking 5 minutes. Serve with sauce spooned over chicken. Serves 4. Excellent company dish!
