FANCY HASH BROWNS 
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
1 pkg. cheddar cheese (2 c.)
1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. minced onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper
2 c. corn flakes
1/4 stick butter

Melt 1 stick butter, add onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese. Place potatoes in bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour soup mixture over potatoes. Top with crushed corn flakes and sprinkle 1/4 stick melted butter over corn flakes. Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees.
