KENTUCKY FRIED CORN | |
6 strips bacon, 1" cubes 4 ears corn, sweet or horse, scraped from cob 2 sm. cucumbers, thinly sliced 1 med. onion, minced or in rings 1 lg. egg Salt, pepper & sugar to taste Lightly fry bacon, mix other ingredients thoroughly, pour into bacon grease. Fry slowly so as not to brown too quickly, about 25 minutes. NOTE: Pimiento strips and green sweet pepper can also be used if desired. Yield: 4 to 6 servings. |
