BRAN MUFFINS | |
3 c. sugar less 2 tbsp. 1 c. Crisco plus 2 tbsp. 5 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 4 c. Kellogg's All Bran cereal 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran cereal 2 c. boiling water 4 eggs 5 c. flour 1 qt. buttermilk Pour boiling water over Nabisco bran. Cream Crisco and sugar. Add beaten eggs and buttermilk. Add Kellogg's bran; sift flour, salt, and soda. Fold into soaked Nabisco 100% Bran. Bake in greased muffin tin 15 to 18 minutes at 400 degrees. Batter will keep in the refrigerator 6 weeks. |
