EASY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. oil
1 stick butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil, oil, butter, water, and cocoa. Pour over salt, sugar, and flour. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, and vanilla. Pour into floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool before icing.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. box powdered sugar
1/2 c. nuts

For icing, melt butter, cocoa, and milk. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, and nuts. Mix well and pour over cake.
