“CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS” IS IN:

CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS 
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies or Special K cereal
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips, melted

Combine sugar and syrup in 3-quart saucepan. Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils.

Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and cereal until well blended.

Press mixture into buttered 9x13-inch pan. Top with melted chocolate. Cool; cut into bars.

Makes 40 Scotcheroos.
