TACO DIP 
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. sour cream
2 pkgs. taco seasoning mix
1 or 1 1/4 lbs. hamburger
8 oz. Cheddar cheese
2 med. tomatoes
Lettuce
1-2 bags round taco chips (plain)

Fry hamburger over medium heat with one envelope of taco seasoning mix (do not add water to this mixture as you do when you make tacos).

In a separate bowl mix with electric beater the cream cheese (softened), the sour cream and the other envelope of taco seasoning mix. Spread mixture into round dish, then put cooled hamburger mixture on top of cream cheese mixture. Shred Cheddar cheese and sprinkle on top of hamburger layer.

Cover and put in refrigerator. Approximately 1 to 2 hours before serving, chop lettuce and put over shredded cheese; chop tomatoes and sprinkle over lettuce. Serve with round taco chips (plain). Dip chips into taco dip and enjoy!
