GRANDMA'S OLD TIME LEMON CREAM
PIE
 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon rind, grated
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 baked pie shell

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, milk, egg yolks, lemon rind, juice and butter. Cook slow on low heat until thickened. Put meringue on top and brown at 350 degrees.
