FOUR LAYER TORTE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. walnuts, finely chopped
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) container Cool Whip, divided
2 (3 5/8 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate or lemon pudding
3 c. cold milk
Chopped nuts

FIRST LAYER: Combine flour, butter and 1/2 cup walnuts. Press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.

SECOND LAYER: Mix together powdered sugar, cream cheese and half of the Cool Whip. Spread over the crust layer.

THIRD LAYER: Combine instant pudding with milk. Mix or shake in tight container and let set for 15 minutes. Pour over the cheese layer.

FOURTH LAYER: Top with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate. Delicious! Serves 15.
