KOREAN RIBS | |
5 lbs. beef ribs, cut across bone and 1/4 inch thick 8 to 10 cloves garlic, minced (approximately 3 tbsp.) 3 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced 3 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. soy sauce 1 c. bottled barbecue sauce 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 tbsp. red bean paste Note: Any butcher will do this if requested Note: Can be found at a Korean market (Sims in SLC) Stir together garlic, ginger, sugar and soy sauce. Coat the ribs and marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour. Mix together the barbeque sauce, onions and bean paste, and pour over the ribs. In a large baking dish, layer the ribs and pour the sauce mixture over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 300 degrees for 2 hours; reduce heat to 200 degrees and bake another 2 hours. |
