HAWAIIAN FLANK STEAK 
1 flank steak
1 c. pineapple juice
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ginger

Pierce meat with fork on both sides. Place in shallow pan. Combine pineapple juice with remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours.

Remove from marinade. Broil over gray coals, about 8 minutes on each side for medium. (Can also be broiled in oven.) Slice meat thinly against the grain on the diagonal and serve with heated marinade. (Also excellent cold.) 4 servings.
