BUTTERNUT CAKE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour
6 eggs, cold
1 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together cream cheese, butter and sugar. Add sifted flour and eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Place in greased pan and put in a cold oven. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

FROSTING:

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. butternut flavoring
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream the first 3 ingredients together, then add the nuts. Apply to the cake.
