HONG KONG SALAD 
3/4 c. Crisco oil
1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
1/3 c. catsup
1 med. onion, chopped fine
2/3 c. sugar
Salt & pepper

Wash and tear 1 pound fresh spinach. Add 1 cup fresh bean sprouts or 1 pound can (drained) and 1 small can water chestnuts (sliced). Garnish with 2 hard-boiled eggs and 8 pieces of bacon, crumbled. Add dressing and toss. Serves 6.
