CHERRY PASTRY 
4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 pt. sour cream
2 cans Thank You cherry pie filling (may use apple)

Mix flour, salt, baking soda, and sugar together; cut in butter (like for pie crust). Add eggs and sour cream. Mix. Refrigerate dough 1 hour. Spread 3/4 of dough with hands on large flat jelly roll pan, bringing up on sides. Spread pie filling on dough. Roll out remaining 1/4 of dough and cut into strips to crisscross on top of pie filling, pressing ends of strips to dough on sides; this dough may be rolled out in powdered sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Pan size approximately 10 1/2 x 14 inches.
