CORN CHOWDER 
2 tbsp. butter
1 onion, sliced
1 c. potatoes, diced
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 c. cream-style corn
2 c. milk

Melt butter in skillet; add onion and sauté until soft. Add potatoes, 2 cups boiling water, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add corn and milk, bring to a boil. Add additional seasonings, if necessary.

Serves 6.
