RHUBARB SHORTCAKE 
3 c. rhubarb, diced
2 c. sugar
1 c. half & half
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour

Mix in order given. Do not grease pan. Bake in 9 x 9 inch or larger pan. Bake at 350 degrees until top is very hard and crusty; a medium brown in color. Take from oven, let cool 5-8 minutes then cover securely with foil. Top with soften. Serve warm or cold.
