Mix together:

2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
4 c. apple, cut up

Sift together and add to the above:

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt

Mix together and pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle top with sugar baking if desired.
