CABBAGE ROLLS 
Cabbage, boil until tender
1 lb. beef
1/4 c. cooked rice
1 egg
1/3 c. carrot, grated
1/3 c. grated onion
1 tsp. salt

Blend ingredients, roll in cooked cabbage leaves. Put oil in pan, just enough to cover pan. Brown 5 minutes. Add 1 cup tomato juice. Cover, let simmer 50 minutes. Add 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Simmer 5 minutes. Put in baking pan uncovered in moderate oven. Brown slightly.
