SCONES 
4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. half and half (or milk)
1/2 to 1 c. currants

In processor (or by hand). Put dry ingredients in bowl add butter. Process until very fine. Add currants. In a separate bowl combine half and half with eggs. Combine the two. Put out on floured board and knead until you are able to roll out 1/2 inch thick and cut with 3 inch biscuit cutter. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with lemon curd or your favorite jam.
