STEAMED BREAD PUDDING 
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter (melted)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)
1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 to 2 c. bread crumbs

Mix all together except bread crumbs. Fold in bread crumbs. Put in greased top of double boiler and steam for 2 hours.

Sauce for topping when you serve the pudding:

1 c. whipped cream
1 egg
1/4 c. butter

Combine egg and butter. Gradually add:

1 c. powdered sugar

Fold this mixture into 1 cup whipped cream.

Add 1 tablespoon rum flavoring (optional).
